The Neat Bar 1 BYOD is an all-in-one video conferencing bar designed for small to medium-sized meeting rooms, hybrid workplaces and flexible collaboration spaces. This BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) solution allows users to connect their own laptop and run compatible video conferencing applications without requiring a dedicated room controller.
Unlike room-system bundles, this package does not include a Neat Pad, making it a streamlined solution for organisations that prefer laptop-based meeting control while still benefiting from Neat’s integrated audio and video technology.
Simple BYOD Video Conferencing
Neat Bar transforms a meeting room into a flexible BYOD video conferencing environment. Users can connect a laptop using USB-C and HDMI to access the device’s camera, microphones and speakers when hosting or joining meetings.
If a compatible display includes a built-in USB hub, a single USB-C connection may be sufficient, while supported laptops can also receive charging through the connection.
USB-C and HDMI cables required for BYOD operation are not included.
Intelligent Audio and Video
Neat Bar uses advanced audio and video processing to adapt automatically to changing meeting conditions, including room acoustics, lighting, background noise and participant positioning. This helps support a more natural and consistent video conferencing experience.
Technologies including Neat Audio, Neat Symmetry and Neat Boundary help optimise communication, participant visibility and meeting-room coverage.
Flexible Installation
The device can be mounted above or below a compatible display, helping optimise camera positioning and eye contact. Automatic view realignment adjusts the camera view according to the mounting position to help maintain a natural participant perspective.
Included mounting hardware helps support simple and professional installation within meeting rooms and collaboration spaces.
Easy Content Sharing
By connecting their own laptop, users can share content directly from familiar applications and workflows. This provides a straightforward way to support presentations, collaboration and hybrid meetings without requiring a dedicated room controller.
A Neat Pad can be added separately to provide dedicated in-room meeting controls. Neat Bar can also be paired with Neat Center to help provide an enhanced experience for remote meeting participants.
Neat Pulse Remote Management
Neat Bar can be centrally managed using Neat Pulse, making it suitable for both single-room deployments and larger device estates. Administrators can manage configurations, software updates and device monitoring through a central management platform.
The platform also provides visibility into room utilisation and environmental data, helping organisations manage meeting spaces more effectively.
